Our Club kids need caring adults to help them develop their character and leadership skills, to help them learn how to live healthy lifestyles, to help them find the path to a fulfilling career, and to learn the professional skills they need to succeed in life. All it takes is someone who’s willing to lead them in the right direction- you can be their stepping stone to greatness!

Our Club members’ safety is our #1 priority. So, we screen our potential volunteers using a background check to make sure they aren’t associated with any crimes against children. We require authorization to process this screening for all volunteers and completion of the volunteer form below provides this authorization. All are welcome to submit a volunteer form. Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Augusta! Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and commit to one consistent day and time each week for a period of 8–12 weeks. During this time, volunteers are assigned to one Club location.

Please note that Clubs operate Monday through Friday, and volunteer opportunities are only available when Clubs are open.

Group & One-Day Opportunities

Corporate, civic, and community groups interested in one-day volunteer experiences or in-kind engagement opportunities are encouraged to contact our Community Engagement Manager at akelley@bgcgreateraugusta.org. These opportunities are designed for larger groups and special events rather than ongoing, weekly volunteering within our Clubs.

Examples of group engagement opportunities include:

Summer cookouts or field days
Back-to-school book bag and school supply drives
Holiday parties or seasonal celebrations
Birthday cards, party kits, or special celebrations for Club members
Other in-kind donations or group service projects
STEAM Activities

To be considered, groups must submit requests at least 60 days prior to the desired volunteer date. All group volunteers are required to complete a one-day liability waiver.While we strive to create meaningful experiences for our partners, all activities must align with Club programming. Availability is based on Club capacity and scheduling, and we may not be able to accommodate large groups or specific timing requests.
